Nelliston is a village located in Montgomery County, New York, United States. As per the 2010 census, the village had a population of approximately 596. Nelliston is part of the Amsterdam Micropolitan Statistical Area and is situated on the south bank of the Mohawk River. The village was incorporated in 1819 and is named after one of its early settlers, Richard Nellis.
